This article is about Hollywood High, a computer game. For the school, see Hollywood High School.

Hollywood High is a creative writing game released in 1996 by Theatrix Ineractive. It is also the sequel to Theatrix's Hollywood, which featured only animal cartoon characters. The game features 37 scenes to be chosen from, as well as multiple human cartoon characters. Users input text and can watch the characters read it.

Hollywood High features nine teen-age characters (four boys and five girls), a mother, an athletic coach and a baby sibling. The characters include:

  • Lily, a bubblegum-chewing girl with a blonde ponytail, identified in the Hollywood High promotional material as "Lily the ponytail girl"
  • Matt, a grunge aficionado, identified in the promotional material as "Matt the flannel shirt kid"
  • Gus, a punk rocker
  • Anna, a basketball player
  • Gary, a nerd in a red sweater
  • Baby, a baby in a high chair
  • Glenn, a black-haired teen with a blue sweatshirt and hood
  • Ruth, a red-headed babysitter
  • Ed, an athletic coach
  • Jenny, a soccer player sporting the number 7
  • Susan, a parent with a blonde ponytail
  • Stella, a class clown wearing a large blue hat

You may change, however, the voices, names, and jobs/interests of the characters.

When you have both Hollywood and Hollywood High installed on your computer, you can combine the two games, increasing useable backgrounds and characters, through clicking "Unlock Hollywood."
