[edit] Athletics

Holly currently competes in the Flint Metro League in the Michigan High School Athletic Association. The school has 22 athletic activities distributed evenly between males and females. Holly's chief rival is Fenton High School just a few miles away. Since the name Bronco is so common, in 1952 Holly opted to the change the spelling of their mascot to make them the Bronchos. In 2006, the school's football team qualified for the state playoffs, but exiting in the first round after a 6-0 loss to Metro-league rival Oxford.

One of the Holly High School Athletic Points of Pride is the fan base, known affectionately as THE RED ZONE. They pack the stands for as many sporting events as possible and try to keep the atmosphere alive and upbeat!

For Holly High,
We'll do or die,
To keep the colors,

a rousing cheer,
To show the foe,
we have no fear.
Our spirit's sure,
to guarantee,
Another Holly Victory!
