The episode begins with Dilbert watching a "National Pine Cone Day" parade, while Dogbert talks about his new holiday which would combine all holidays into one, with a few Dogbertian techniques. (An example is letting children shoplift for an hour, if they have been good all year.) Meanwhile, a Pine Cone Day float crashes into a camera, forcing the network to broadcast "Babe Finally Gets What's Coming For Him," which ends with Babe being barbequed. Later at work, Dilbert's car being knicked by a notorious coworker, Dick, from predocument. Dilbert then uses his crime computer to track all of Dick's crime record. The Pointy-Haired Boss then gives Dilbert a document that must be signed by all coworkers, including his new nemesis. Meanwhile, Dogbert is at the United Nations, making "National Dogbert Day" a reality. [1] Rhode Island initially objects to the change, then decides to support because they oppose big government and Dogbert gets his way. He then goes on 40/40 to promote his new holiday, ending up with Dogbert's critics (Cupid, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and a reindeer, and the Headless Horseman fighting. Dilbert then goes to the mall to find his mother a gift, and Dick rears his ugly head again, and leads Dilbert on a chase through several areas in the mall, ending with Dick flattening Dilbert's car. The next day is Dogbert Day, and when a small float in the parade breaks, Dogbert orders the drum-beater, Alice, to start beating it quickly, building up enough speed to flatten smaller floats and eventually, Dogbert crushes Dick's car, with Dick inside, killing him, and Dilbert suddenly enjoys the holiday.
