Hole in the Wall Gang (comedy)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hole in the Wall Gang is the name of a Northern Ireland comedy group, who came to prominence in the mid 1990s with the popular sitcom Give My Head Peace.

The original line up consisted of Tim McGarry, Damon Quinn, Marty Reid, Michael McDowell and Nuala McKeever, although McKeever left in the late 90s to pursue a solo career. They were originally known as the Hole in the Wall Theatre Company, before adopting the name Hole in the Wall Gang when they moved to television.

March 2006 saw a new sketch show from the Hole in the Wall Gang begin on BBC Northern Ireland, called Dry Your Eyes. In January and February, Tim McGarry hosted the television version of BBC Radio Ulster panel game The Blame Game (radio).
