HolbyBlue (note the title is all one word), is a forthcoming British television drama series. It was announced in the Spring of 2006, as an up-coming spin-off from the popular BBC One drama Holby City, itself a spin-off of the long-running Casualty.
The new eight-part police drama series will air in the Spring of 2007. It is currently in production at an old MOD site near Longcross.[1]
Actors spent some time shadowing uniform and detective officers at Surrey Police's Woking Police Station, and following an in depth visit to the station's custody centre, it is rumoured that the the Holby Police Station cell block is based on the real thing at Woking.
