An Unrivaled Match: Hokage Battle Royale! (Japanese: 古今無双！『火影』というレベルの戦い - Kokon musō! "Hokage" toiu reberu no tatakai) is episode 71 of the anime series Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Invasion of Konoha manga arc.

This battle of kings has begun as Orochimaru has summoned the souls of the First and Second Hokages, using a forbidden technique (Summoning: Impure World Resurrection or "Reanimation"). If the Third had allowed the other coffin to rise, the Forth Hokage would be put in the fight. They have no choice but to fight. Now the Third Hokage not only has to deal with Orochimaru, his student, and one of the Legendary Sannin, but two of the greatest Hokages of all of Konoha as well.
Meanwhile, Sasuke finally catches up with Kankuro, Gaara, and Temari. Temari sets up a series of booby traps to stop Sasuke, but he manages to avoid getting hurt. Naruto & Sakura hear the explosions, but Naruto is confident that Sasuke will be all right.
Back at the stadium, Orochimaru implants two red-tagged kunai knives into the heads of the reanimated Hokages, destroying their personalities and making them into his killing puppets. The three Hokages square off, using their most powerful techniques. Despite his age, the Third Hokage (hereafter referred to as "Sarutobi") is extremely fast and agile, and is even able to recover from being directly attacked by the First Hokage. Finally, Sarutobi is trapped by the First Hokage's Mokuton ("Wood Release") jutsu, which creates a huge forest in only a few seconds. Sarutobi counters by summoning Enma, who transforms in the Adamantine Staff and frees his master.
Orochimaru draws the Kusanagi Sword: Long Sword of the Heavens, and the three enemies attack Sarutobi, knocking him down and apparently unconscious. However, Orochimaru's pause to gloat gives his former sensei enough time to recover and break free. Sarutobi realizes that fighting the two zombie-Hokages on the physical plane is useless; as along as their souls are bound to the world of the living, they are effectively immortal. His only option is to use the Fourth Hokage's jutsu.
However, first Orochimaru shows off the results of his own forbidden jutsu, tearing off his face as if it were a mask. He reveals the face of a young girl, and Sarutobi realizes what his former pupil has accomplished. Meanwhile, Sasuke has finally caught up to the Sand Siblings, declaring that they will go no further. The episode ends.
