Hohenlockstedt is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approx. 8 km northeast of Itzehoe.

Hohenlockstedt is also the seat of the Amt ("collective municipality") Hohenlockstedt, which consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 in parentheses):
