The Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach (also called HfG Offenbach, School of Offenbach or simply known as HfG) is one of the leading colleges of art and design in Germany. It was given university status in 1970.
HfG Offenbach was created in 1832. Many famous (most traditional) Designers taught here until the 1960ies, when the school was transformed to a progressive school of design, where many people of the former School of Ulm taught there.
