HNLMS De Ruyter (F804) (Dutch Hr. Ms. De Ruyter) is a De Zeven Provinciën class frigate. It is commanded by Commander Jeanette Morang. [1] This command is unique for the Royal Dutch Navy, as it is the first female command on a Dutch frigate.

HNLMS De Ruyter (F804) should not be mistaken with the Hr. Ms. De Ruyter (F806) Tromp class destroyer. Before this ship, thirteen more Dutch navy ships were named HNLMS De Ruyter, see HNLMS De Ruyter for a list. They all have been named after Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter.

HNLMS De Ruyter (F804) was previously commanded by Commander Rob Bauwer until 2007-01-17 when Commander Jeanette Morang took command.
