Copyright in the UK/Poland expires 50 years after the death of the person who took the photo. Scanning / croping is unlikely to be deemed a creative act.

Although the exact source is unknown, it is presumed this image was published before the ship was scrapped in 1921, making it ineligible for copyright in the U.S.
