[edit] Summary
Stylized image to mimic news photo of HMS Canopus (1898) as it appeared during World War I (scrapped in 1919). The image follows the pattern of a reference news photo but is not a copy and differs in the scale of the ship, alignment in the water, and newsprint font (source reference image linked below).
Source: hand-edited to mimic photo (not to scale, background clouded to appear old).
Variations: (none yet, colorized planned for yellow funnels).
Reference Image: http://www.gwpda.org/naval/images/cfcanopus.jpg (not copied, but compared in aligning image, shading, and lettering caption).
