HMS R9

HMS R9 was a British R class submarine built by Armstrong Whitworth. She was laid down on the 1 December 1917 and launched 12 August 1918. R9 was commissioned on the 26 July 1919. She came too late to see any combat in World War One like most of the other R class submarines. R9 was sold on the 21 February 1923 to E Suren.
