HMS Oberon (S09)

HMS Oberon (S09) was a British Royal Navy submarine. She was the name ship of the Oberon class and was built at Chatham. HMS Oberon is a conventional diesel fueled submarine, the second Oberon submarine - her predecessor (N21) was a O-class submarine of World War II.
- Laid down 28 November 1957,
- launched 18 July 1959,
- Commissioned 24 February 1961.
- Paid off 1986
- Sold for scrap 1987.
