HMS Delhi (I74)

HMS Delhi was a Danae class cruiser that served with the Royal Navy in World War II (not to be confused with the Leander class cruiser, INS Delhi that served with the Indian Navy). She was laid down in 1917 (launched in 1919) and scrapped in 1948 after war service in the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
Refitted as an anti-aircraft cruiser in the US, took part in a number of allied landings in the Med, damaged by enemy action in Malta.
