HMS Bonaventure

Wikipedia is aware of several Royal Navy ships called Bonaventure:

  • The Bonaventure of 1621, a third rate King's ship of 34 guns.
  • The Bonaventure of 1663. Build by [Phineus Pett] at Chatham. Rebuilt in 1683.
  • HMS Bonaventure, submarine depot ship in World War I
  • HMS Bonaventure (31), an anti-aircraft cruiser during World War II
  • HMS Bonaventure, commissioned on 23rd January 1943 as a depot ship for ‘X’ craft midget submarines, subsequently renamed as Clan Davidson
