HMGS-South

H.M.G.S.-South is a Florida, USA based chapter of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, a non-profit organization devoted to advancing the hobby of miniature wargaming.
The chapter’s roots is a Historical gaming group of adults who conduct two gaming conventions in Orlando each year; "Hurricon" in September and “Recon” in April. The group also hosts gaming events in a variety of genres including Sci-Fi, Role-playing, and recently German-style board games.
HMGS-South was originally founded in March 1996 by Chuck Kennedy, who continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the organization. The group uses the Bonnie Blue Flag to symbolize their reverence to history and location.
