HMCS Red Deer (J255)

The HMCS Red Deer (J 255) is a minesweeper of the Bangor class in the Royal Canadian Navy.

Built for the Second World War the ship was launched on October 5, 1941 after being built by Canadian Vickers Ltd. of Montreal. The ship had a VTE reciprocating engine. After the war it was decommissioned on October 30, 1945. Recommissioned after 1949 with pennant number FSE 196. Sold in February 1959.
