HMCS CH-14

HMCS CH-14 was a H class submarine, Canada used by the Royal Canadian Navy.

CH-14 was lauched in 1917. This was one of two submarines that was completed at the end of hostilities in World War I, in Quincy, MA. It originally saw service with the RN in Bermuda. In February,1919 the RN presented this vessel and its sister ship to the RCN.

CH-14 was commissioned in Halifax in June of that year. The CH class was used to replace the CC class submarines. Like the CC class subs, the H class did not last long and was paid off on June 30, 1922. She and her sister boat HMCS CH-15 were scrapped in 1927.

The RCN did not acquire any more submarines until after World War II.
