HK 119 is the pseudonym of Heidi Kilpeläinen (born 1974) a Finnish artist living and working in London. She is a versatile do-it-yourself person known to plan every aspect of her shows and works herself, from the costumes and choreography to the accompanying visuals and music. She has released several records on One Little Indian and performed in varied venues from museums to rock festivals. Her works are inspired by science fiction, futurism, Bauhaus and Russian Constructivism.
