Juni auf der Vimy-Höhe --- Im Hintergrund das kanadische Weltkriegs-Totenmal, das nach einer Meldung des englischen Lügenministers Duff Cooper von den "deutschen Barbaren" zerstört worden sein sollte. Unsere Aufnahme ist eins der schlagendsten Bilddokumente für die schamlose Verlogenheit der englischen Propaganda. Inzwischen hat der kanadische Ministerpräsident Mackenzie King im Parlament die englische Lügenmeldung dementiert"

A literal translation of the caption under the image: "The Führer on the Vimy Heights on June 2nd --- In the background the Canadian Memorial for the Dead, of which the English Minister of Lies Duff Cooper has claimed that the 'German barbarians' had destroyed it. Our photograph is one of the most striking picture documents for the shameless mendacity of the English propaganda. Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Mackenzie King has repudiated the English lie."
