Hitachi Data Systems Corporation (HDS) is a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. and part of its Information & Telecommunication Systems Group. HDS globally distributes products developed in Odawara, Japan, where Hitachi's Disk Array Systems Division resides.
The Hitachi TagmaStore Universal Storage Platform (USP) is HDS' latest storage platform focused on consolidation for high-end storage needs, including virtualization of internal and external heterogeneous storage into one pool.
