User:HisSpaceResearch

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HisSpaceResearch is trying to take a short wikibreak and will be back on Wikipedia once he has sorted out higher priorities in life. Most likely, however, HisSpaceResearch won't be able to keep away from Wikipedia for that long, and will probably be back a lot earlier while making some small edits every once in a while anyway.

This is my user page, as you might have guessed.

[edit] General

I have been using Wikipedia in some shape or form since early 2004.

This userpage has been deleted twice before at my own request: I no longer use large numbers of userboxes, and feel that they clog the page up, as well as adding to this problem.

Other accounts that I have registered, yet do not feel the need to use, are User:Ezekiel Cheever and User:Sproglet777.

Feel free to leave a comment on my personal talk page if you have something to say about articles I've edited or comments I've left on any type of talk page.

What would my advice be to other Wikipedia users?

  • Always cite your sources while you write. This is the only way that any content will be acceptable for Wikipedia, despite the fact that many older articles are not properly referenced. There is no way to verify the statements made in unreferenced articles.
  • Always write from a neutral point of view.

Any editor who does not respect these principles either doesn't understand what Wikipedia is and how it works, or chooses to defy this understanding deliberately. As an inclusionist I am quite liberal about notability (what should be included in Wikipedia), and believe that the encyclopedia does lose lots of valuable information through deletion. Respect those principles above, and most likely I will see your article as being a valid inclusion here.

As for information about what I do outside of Wikipedia, I'd rather stay relatively anonymous for the moment.
