The introduction of this article is a virtual duplicate of the intro for a few other Falun Gong articles. As such I've commented it out and placed an editors note in the article. Somebody needs to write a NPOV introduction for the History of Falun Gong. CovenantD 21:11, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

The IED is a human rights group [1]. The reason why it is often cited is because they probably made a statement [2] at the 53rd session at the U.N. Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, regarding the self-immolation incident. Various Falun Gong articles (written in Chinese) regarded this as the UN, or the "IED Bureau under UN" investigated the incident and the results were that the incident was staged. But as the article shows, it's just that, an announcement by a Non-Government Organization. Not much authority to appeal. --Yenchin 02:08, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

The reason I emphasis on "probably" is because the article, although could be found on the UN website, cannot be fished out by their search engine. It isn't even listed on the 53rd session document list. An odd fact, though I have no ways to find out the reason. --Yenchin 02:20, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

The third paragraph is almost word for word from the biography. This needs to be summarized and reworded. As it stands now, it is a copyright violation. You have three days before I remove it. CovenantD 17:48, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
