John Major should not be on the list solely because I highly doubt Rowling had him in mind when she wrote the book. His name was never mentioned in the book.

Plus, it would be historically inconsistent. The Prime Minister before Major was Margaret Thatcher, whereas the Muggle Prime Minister in the book refers to his predecessor as he. Conclusion: he can't be meant to represent Major. 213.249.135.36 22:47, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
