Hisardut is an Israeli form of unarmed combat related to Krav Maga, invented by Dr. Dennis Hanover. It is not considered a martial art because it has no katas. The word "Hisardut" literaraly means "Survival" in Hebrew, emphasizing the self-defence component of the system.
