[edit] Prod objection

This article apparently conflates two different, both clearly notable Japanese figures whose names seem to be transliterated into nearly identical forms. To use the most common forms for each:

Hiro Yamagata (b.1948), extremely notable visual artist who, among many other credits, is coauthor/illustrator of a collaborative work with Allen Ginsberg

Hiroo Yamagata (b.1964), notable writer on software-related matters who, in English translation alone, meets audience requirements (eg, [1], [2]) and is Lawrence Lessig's Japanes translator. [3]

And, as always, someone else has to do it. Gee, thanks. ➨ ЯΞDVΞRS 20:45, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
Well, I prefer, in the first instance, to have articles in specialized areas written by people who are familiar with the subject matter. You seem to differ. Monicasdude 21:41, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
