- Opened on April 1, 1951 as "Ujina-Dentei".
- Rebuilt on October 1, 1967.
- Renamed as "Hiroshima Port (Ujina)" on November 1, 2001.
- Moved and Rebuilt on March 29, 2003 at the current place.
