Hiril
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the fiction of J. R. R. Tolkien, the term hiril refers to a lady, as in Hírilorn ("Tree of the Lady") and híril nin ("my lady").
Hiril (b. ~ 423 F.A.) was also the younger daughter of Halmir, chieftain of the Haladin. She was the sister of Haldir, Hareth, and Hundar. She was married to Enthor. Hiril bore him a daughter Meleth.
In an earlier version Hiril was the daughter of Barahir and Emeldir, and the younger sister of Beren, but this was later dropped.
