Hirgon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Hirgon was an emissary of Gondor who presented the Red Arrow to Théoden King of Rohan.
Hirgon had set out on the command of Denethor, Steward of Gondor, and came to Dunharrow to present the Red Arrow to Théoden King. After staying there for a short night another errand-rider came to Rohan to report the Darkness. Together, the two emissaries rode back to Minas Tirith. Hirgon and his companion were caught by Sauron's forces at the Rammas Echor, and were slain in sight of the White City.
