Hippomaninae is a plant of the family Euphorbiaceae. It is a subtribe of the Hippomaneae and has 32 genera:
•Bonania (also called Hypocoton)
•Dalembertia (also called Alcoceria)
•Excoecaria (also called Commia, Glyphostylus)
•Gymnanthes (also called Adenogyne, Ateramnus)
•Hippomane (also called Mancanilla, Mancinella)
•Maprounea (also called Aegopicron, Aegopricon, Aegopricum)
•Neoshirakia (also called Shirakia)
•Sapium (also called Carumbium, Gymnobothrys, Sapiopsis, Seborium, Shirakiopsis, Stillingfleetia, Taeniosapium), Chinese tallow
•Sebastiania (also called Clonostachys, Cnemidostachys, Elachocroton, Gussonia, Microstachys, Sarothrostachys, and Tragiopsis)
•Spirostachys Stillingia (also called Gymnostillingia)
