Hipperholme

Hipperholme is a village in the Calderdale area of Yorkshire, located between the towns of Halifax and Brighouse. It is located on the busy A58 road and includes Hipperholme Grammar School, a local private school.
Hipperholme is a thriving village with many local shops, and is also home to one of the best pubs in West Yorkshire, the Whitehall, located on the Crossroads. Other pubs in the area are the Travellers, the Country House, the Hare and Hounds and the White Horse.
Lightcliffe is adjacent to Hipperholme so much so that the boundaries are blurred. The local primary school is Lightcliffe Church of England school. The Secondary schools are Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Sports College and also Brighouse High.
