[edit] Thanks
Thanks for your good work on Sari and Choli. Help from sensible people is much appreciated. How would you feel about working on Churidar? We still don't have an article for those, and they are so handsome on slim women (which is not me, alas -- I wear big baggy fat-lady salwars). Zora 10:29, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Churidar
Zora, thanks for the encouraging remarks. Just enjoy doing a bit of creative work. I will try to expand the Churidar article. I just wan't to make sure that the images are not wiped out. I am not sure about the technical terms of licensing. Last time, many pics in Choli & Sari were declared illegal. I hope my latest entries survive this 'onslaught' by the administrators!! Thanks again, Zora.
- Ah, I forgot that I finally started a churidar article, but you added a nice pic, info, and an external link, which greatly improved the article.
- Another project would be have pictures of various sari weaving and decoration styles (auntie's sari collection plus digital camera?) and also of various sari drapes. A copy of Chantal Boulanger's book and a compliant friend willing to be photographed might do it, or just facility with drawing. I need to get a digital camera and then I can contribute a few sari pictures -- I'm quite fond of Bengali and Odissi handwovens. Zora 17:05, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
