Himeji Gardens, Adelaide
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Himeji Gardens was a gift from sister city Himeji, Japan in 1982. Located in the south parklands[1], it is one of the only classical Japanese gardens in Adelaide.
The garden in split into a sansui (山水), a "mountain and lake garden", and a karesansui (枯山水), a "dry rock garden" intended to evoke mountains surrounded by water.
