Himalayan Wolf (Canis himalayaensis) is described new species of wolf to native in small region in northern India (Jammu and Kashmir and then Himachal Pradesh) and eastern Nepal in Himalayas. Research of mDNA confirm that this wolf represent (together with Canis pallipes) ancient, isolation's line of wolves in India. These is only small population to 350 animals, and 21 specimens live in zoo in India.
