The Hilton Waikoloa Village is an oceanfront vacation resort located on the Kohala Coast of on the Big Island of Hawaii. The enormous, 62-acre resort is located at the base of Mauna Kea, 18 miles from the Kona International Airport. The resort was originally built in 1988 and a renovation was completed in 2006.

Features of the full-service, luxury resort include: 1,240 guest rooms & suites located in three separate "atrium tower" buildings, three freshwater swimming pools (two with waterfalls & waterslides), a four-acre swimming and snorkeling lagoon, nine restaurants and nine lounges, a museum walkway featuring an art collection valued at over $7 million, the Kohala Sports Club & Spa, two championship golf courses, a seaside putting course, eight tennis courts (including a 432-seat stadium court), an oceanside wedding pavilion and chapel, a specialized camp program for young guests, and the independently-owned & -operated Dolphin Quest Learning Lagoon where guests can swim with the dolphins.

Arriving resort guests can travel to & from their accommodations either via mahogany boats which cruise along the resort’s winding waterways or via an air-conditioned, Disney-engineered monorail tram.
