Hillhouse, Hamilton, Scotland

Hillhouse is a council-built housing estate on the western border of Hamilton in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It was built in 1954 with some expansion taking place in the mid 1960s. Its civic amenities include: Udston and St Ninian's Primary Schools, Hillhouse Civic Centre, Hillhouse Library, and the Jock Stein Sports Centre and playing fields.
The most "famous son" of the estate is the legendary Rangers, and Scottish international football player Davie Cooper who hailed from the area's Brankholm Brae.
