Hillhead-Jordanhill Rugby Football Club are a rugby union team who play their home games at Hughenden in Glasgow. Despite their name they are located in neither the Hillhead or Jordanhill areas of the city. Rather, Hughenden is located in Hyndland, which is approximately half way between these two locales in the popular West End of Glasgow.
Formed in 1988 and currently compete in BT Scotland Premiership Division Two. Season 2006-2007 saw the appointment of New Zealander Aaron Collins as the head coach assisted by former Glasgow Hawks star Mike Blackie and Murray Roxburgh.
The current squad features a number of young players with a range of age group international caps and Glasgow Warriors apprentices Willie Brown and Jamie Hunter. Their u-16 side is awash with talent and they will have a lot of good players to call upon in the future.
