Hilbre High School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hilbre High School is a secondary modern school, located in West Kirby, Wirral, United Kingdom.

The school was founded as a girls' school in 1966, and merged with 'Hoylake Parade Boys School' in 1973 to become co-educational. In 2006 the school became a specialist Humanities College, as part of the Specialist Schools Programme. Despite this it still remains one of the most underachieving schools in the Wirral Borough

Famous former pupils include musicians The Coral, actor Daniel Craig, olympic cyclist Chris Boardman, and Chester City F.C. player Paul Linwood.
