Hilary Barta
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hilary Barta is a comic book writer and artist. He has worked for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics on titles such as Plastic Man, Alpha Flight, and Power Pack. Barta has served as penciller, inker, and both on various occasions, as well as sometimes writing original scripts. His work has a distinct cartoon-like feel, often being more surreal and exaggerated than the more realistic work found in other superhero comics. As a result, Barta's art style is very well suited to humor. He recently worked with writer Alan Moore on his anthology comic Tomorrow Stories, drawing the adventures of Splash Brannigan.
