Hi — I reverted your date changes in New Deal. It's generally preferable to link full dates because then they are formatted according to user preference settings. The month - day - year format is used mostly by people in the United States, so by wiki-linging dates they can be displayed in other arrangements such as day - month - year which is used most other people. I find the yyyy-mm-dd format the easiest for wiki-linking, but there are other accepted ways of doing it. JonHarder 16:16, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Just makes it harder to read/understand. Being a numical date you are required to think about that it means, plus it doesn't need be linked to that peciluar date/year.
