The problem

When reporting usernames you have a choice between WP:AIV and WP:RFCN. Often a name is in clear violation of the username policy but it is rejected by WP:AIV, this leads to the name either being ignored or going through the WP:RFCN process. The WP:RFCN process, while great for difficult cases, tends to be a poor place to report obvious violations.

The solution

Individual admins can make username block decisions on their own if they feel that further input is not needed. I am setting up this page for people to report username violations that they feel do not fit into either WP:AIV or WP:RFCN. Admins can go through this list and block or remove the names at their discretion(based on WP:U of course). Please keep discussion about names to the talk page, and if the discussion gets beyond simple, please move the name to WP:RFCN.
