Highland Junior High School is an intermediate school for students in Grade 7 to Grade 9 in the Don Mills Road and Cliffwood Road area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Highland is a feeder school to A. Y. Jackson Secondary School.

As of spring 2005, the school has a student population of 413. 83% of students speak a primary language other than English. [1]
The school has a proud tradition of academic excellence. In the 2004-2005 Grade 9 EQAO (provincial testing) Academic mathematics test results, 98% of Highland students enrolled in Grade 9 Academic math scored at or above the provincial standard (Level 3), the highest percentage in the Toronto District School Board. This compares with only 65% of students taking the test in the TDSB who achieved this.[2]

In the 2005-2006 Grade 9 EQAO Academic mathematics test results, 90% passed according to Method 1 (All results were marked), and 98% scored at or above level 3 according to Method 2 (students who actually took part in the assessment and produced at least some work that could be scored. Students are excluded from these calculations if they were exempted or had no data. 2[3],
