High School Musical is a video game based on the 2006 television film High School Musical. It is set to be released in August 2007 for the Wii[1], Nintendo DS, and Playstation 2.
The game is about the High School Musical friends traveling across America in a competition, hoping to win the "The American Amateur Musical" title. With the help of Troy and the others, they will show that they have what it takes to win the competition. For PS2 and Wii you will be able to sing your way through the original movie, plus sing all the new songs from High School Musical 2.
The Wii version of the game will include a microphone. It is unknown whether it will connect via the USB ports, GameCube ports, attach to the Wii Controller, or utilize Bluetooth.
