High Court (Hong Kong)

For the High Court of Justice, which was renamed in 1997, see Court of First Instance.

The High Court (Traditional Chinese: 高等法院) in Hong Kong consists of the Court of Appeal and the Court of First Instance. It deals with criminal and civil cases which have risen beyond the lower courts. It was named the Supreme Court before 1997.

The current location of the court is at 38 Queensway, Hong Kong Island.
