Higashikamo District, Aichi

Higashikamo (東加茂郡; -gun) was a district located in Northern Nishimikawa Region in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Formed during Meiji Era by spliting Kamo District in Mikawa Province.

Population 21,227, Total area 488.24 km². (as of 2003-final population count)

As of March 31, 2005, the district had the municipalities of Asuke, Shimoyama, Asahi and Inabu, but on April 1, 2005, all municipalities within this district were merged into the city of Toyota, and the district was dissolved as a result of this merger.
