[edit] Cleanup

This page really needs to be renamed. It is not about the person named in the title but is a history of Christianity in Athens. I have no idea how to do that other than cut and paste into a new page. If anyone else knows how to do that more effectively (and probably delete this page in the meantime) then I'll do some more cleanup afterwards. JGF Wilks 07:13, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

  • I tagged this for cleanup, because it needs to be wikified. --Dakart 05:19, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
    • Article desperately needs revision and use of headings. --Lendorien 19:47, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I've deleted tons of irrelevant material, but it still reads more like a history of the bishops of Athens rather than specifically about Hierotheos. In my opinion most of the rest should go too, but that would take it to nearly nothing, and that's scary for me as a relatively inexperienced editor. I think I'm going to leave the rest to someone else. And, as JGF Wilks said, if we want an article on the history of Christianity in Athens, the original article can be placed under a new name. --edi 04:48, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
I am going to make this into an article on the person and eliminate the rest of the material. Majoreditor 02:09, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

I personally think this article is now ready to be removed from the Cleanup page, but I'd like to have one or more other people look at it first to be sure that I'm not jumping the gun. Thoughts, anyone? --edi 00:36, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

IMHO it can come off of the Cleanup page. It still needs improvement but is a solid start-class article, given the limited information on the subject. Thanks, Majoreditor 02:22, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
