User talk:Hidden secret 7
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is my talk page. Really it is just my inbox, where everything people want me to read should go. As it says on my usernamepage I read everything here usually within a few hours and reply to anything that needs it within a few weeks. Most comments are deleted after a few days as I have already read them, and because it looks messy when there is too much stuff here. Comments in [square brackets] at the end of some sections are notes I have written, mostly to myself, and/or to anyone who cares (probably noone). Whatever comments you have, however boring, unhelpful or even insulting, write them here.

[edit] Reference desk humour
Would you take some time to consider whether the reference desk really benefits from expressions of your opinion such as this gratuitous and weakly humorous insult or this off topic, gratuitous and also weakly humorous insult? There is a school of thought which would prefer chatter to be kept off the desks, and would hope poster think before they post. I appreciate you may be a bit bored & want some interaction. The ref desks are possibly not the right place for this. thanks --Tagishsimon (talk)
[I wrote a long reply to this comment explaining why I disagreed with it here]
- It was just you I was annoyed with, and I chose to alert you to my annoyance now rather than previously because you had not got onto my radar before now. thanks --Tagishsimon (talk)
[edit] Eating Sugar
Hi
You recently said "I reckon everyone here will disagree with me, but I think a diet with lots of sugar in would be healthy, especially if you want to lose weight as well, but you would have to be careful to have enough vitamins" - not sure if you were joking or if you were serious, but either way I would like to know more about this - if you can. For example I overheard some strangers recently talking about skinny models that went on the "Jube Jube" diet (Jube Jubes are soft gum pastels usually coated in sugar) and they went on to say they they just eat all of that kind of stuff (Jelly Babies) and that's all they eat and the lost a lot of weight. Now, the most puzzling thing is how one could lose weight on that kind of diet - I'd like to learn why a person would, and what else they would be allowed to eat. Thanks for your honest feedback, and if you were joking, please just say so, I won't be offended. Rfwoolf 15:29, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
[I answered this users questions on their talk page here]
- FYI, your answer is totally ignoring the energy value of food. Your body will store excess energy as fat, whether or not it began as fat that you consumed. If you don't understand the basics of nutrition, please consider not answering questions in this area. Friday (talk) 20:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
