I erased the sentence about Esquires because in Spnish nobility there are the "escuderos", and that is the esquires. It is closer to this: a Spanish knight class among the nobility, in which the only ones who can pass the rank to their descendants are male sons, although every cildren of an hidalgo becomes one.
