Hidromek is a Turkish manufacturer of construction equipments such as hydraulic excavators and backhoes.

It was established in 1978 by a Turkish mechanical engineer Hasan Basri Bozkurt. Just like backhoe manufacturer JCB, Hidromek is a family-owned company. Today Hidromek is managing by company owner Hasan Bozkurt and his two sons, Ahmet Bozkurt and Mustafa Bozkurt.

The history of Hidromek had begun with such sanction or embargo which had been applied by the United States of America at 1974. At that time prediod, euipment owners even can not import any parts for their equipment. That way Hidromek was established to supply aftersales market parts for American origined construction equipment.

By time, they focused on producing their first own designs -tractor mounted backhoe loaders- as complete machines.

Now, Hidromek keeps manufacturing at their 4 different premises which are separated in two cities -Ankara and İzmir- of Turkey. Their main products are backhoe loaders (4x4 & 4x4x4) and hydraulic type wheeled and tracked excavators (20,22,30 ton classes). They are importing to 44 overseas markets.
