Hideous Records is an independent record label set up in late 2006 by the three members of the British rock band, Reuben and their manager Barney Jeavons. It was set up using money they earned from playing live shows[1]. The band have said that they set up the label in order to have "more control over the release of [their] music". Currently the band only plan to use the label for their own releases and do not intend to distribute music from other artists [2].
